The FightLite MCR (Mission Configurable Rifle) DFR Upper (brand part no. MCR556DFRMS) is a belt-fed-capable 5.56 upper receiver assembly with a 12.5-inch barrel and an M-LOK handguard. It interchanges with standard AR/M4-pattern uppers and fits any mil-spec lower receiver without permanent modification, and FightLite designed it to be rearward compatible with AR15/M16-pattern lowers dating back to 1963. This MIL-Spec DFR version takes FightLite’s standard MCR technology further, including all of the accessory items found on their standard MCR government-pattern upper plus Dry Film Lubrication on critical high-friction surfaces for extra performance in extreme conditions.
