The Faxon Firearms AR10 Barrel (brand part number 10BC8R24FHQ-5R-NP3) is a 24-inch heavy fluted barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and built for AR10-pattern rifles that demand long-range accuracy without excess weight. A 1:8 twist rate stabilizes the heavier, high-BC 6.5mm bullets that make Creedmoor such a capable long-range cartridge, while 5R rifling reduces bullet deformation and fouling compared to conventional lands and grooves. The barrel is threaded and fitted with a rifle-length gas port and a .750 gas block journal, and its 11-degree target crown protects the rifling for consistent accuracy at distance. A nickel-Teflon coated extension adds corrosion resistance where the barrel meets the bolt carrier.
