The Excalibur Mag Max Crossbow (brand part no. E16282) is a field-serviceable recurve crossbow from Excalibur Crossbow, built to send bolts downrange at up to 350 feet per second. Finished in Mossy Oak DNA camo, it pairs a heavy 175-pound draw weight with Excalibur’s included rope-cocking aid to keep cocking effort down to roughly 14 pounds. At just 32 inches overall and 6 pounds bare, it carries easily into a tree stand or ground blind without wearing down a hunter’s arm on a long sit. Among crossbows, the Mag Max suits whitetail and big-game hunters who want Excalibur’s proven recurve reliability without the servicing hassles of a compound system.
