The Energetic Armament Sonus 9mm Suppressor in black nitride is a pistol-caliber can from the Energetic Armament Sonus line (Energetic Armament part no. EA18). This SKU wears the black nitride finish, while the MetOx Sonus and the Sonus 9K are listed as separate products. It measures 6.6 inches long and mounts on a barrel threaded 1/2×28, the pitch carried by most threaded 9mm pistol and carbine barrels sold in the US. That combination suits a threaded 9mm handgun or a pistol-caliber carbine set up for quieter range sessions, training or home-defense work. A dark finish also keeps the can from standing out on a black host.
