The Magnum Research Desert Eagle .50 AE 6 Inch Barrel with Muzzle Brake in Polished Chrome (brand part no. BAR506PCIMB) pairs a factory replacement or caliber-conversion barrel with a built-in muzzle brake to help tame the substantial recoil of the .50 Action Express cartridge. Built from all-steel construction for the Desert Eagle Mark XIX and finished in a bright polished chrome, this barrel includes a Picatinny-style accessory rail for mounting optics or lights alongside the recoil-reducing brake. Installation is straightforward, though Magnum Research notes that switching from .357 Magnum requires also changing the bolt assembly to match the new caliber, and owners should refer to the Desert Eagle owner’s manual for full installation instructions. For shooters who want the big-bore capability of .50 AE without giving up as much control over follow-up shots, the integrated brake makes a real difference.
