The Diamondback DB10 Carbon .308 Win in Midnight Bronze is the entry-level line of Diamondback’s AR-10 rifles, trimmed to a 16-inch barrel (brand part no. DB1018C071). Diamondback Firearms outfits the Carbon Series with Magpul furniture, a DB Carbon lower and an M-LOK handguard, and nothing you do not need. The Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish sets it apart from the black and FDE versions of the same rifle. A mid-length gas system and a light-profile barrel keep it shorter and quicker to carry than the 18-inch DB10 models.

Key Specifications

• Caliber is .308 Winchester, a widely available full-power round for hunting and range work.
• The barrel is 16 inches of 4150 CrMoV steel with a black nitride finish, a light profile that keeps weight down.
• Rate of twist is 1:10 right-hand, matched to the usual .308 bullet weights.
• The gas system is mid-length direct impingement, a smoother-running setup for a 16-inch barrel than a carbine gas system.
• The finish is Midnight Bronze Cerakote, a color that separates this rifle from the standard black models.
• The handguard is a 15-inch M-LOK, so accessories attach anywhere along the rail without a full quad rail.
• The stock is a Magpul MOE carbine stock and the grip is a Magpul MOE K, both familiar, durable polymer furniture.
• The included magazine is a Magpul Gen M3 PMAG, 20 rounds, sized for the DB10 lower.
• The muzzle device is an A2 .30 caliber flash hider on 5/8×24 threads, a standard thread that accepts common muzzle accessories.
• Weight is 8.4 pounds and length is 31.125 inches collapsed, 33.75 inches extended, a compact size for a .308 rifle.
