The Sabre Inert 3.0 oz MK-4 Crossfire Gel Practice Spray (Sabre part no. 50CFT30-GEL) is a practice canister built on Sabre Crossfire technology that deploys like a live unit but uses an inactive formula. It lets trainees rehearse drawing, aiming and deploying a duty-belt gel without exposing a partner to active spray. The MK-4 body has a flip top safety, and the Crossfire design lets the user deploy from any angle or orientation. Instructors can match it to the live MK-4 canisters in the same line. It is a training tool for agencies, academies and individuals who want realistic handling practice.

• The body is the MK-4 Crossfire canister, with a flip top safety to prevent accidental discharge.
• Crossfire technology lets the user deploy from any angle or orientation, which speeds target acquisition.
• Sabre rates the canister for a 5-year shelf life, and test-fires each unit before it leaves the factory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a live pepper gel? No. It is the Inert version, which deploys like an active unit but uses an inactive formula designed for training.

Why choose gel for practice? Gel is the delivery of the live MK-4 Crossfire Gel, so the practice unit handles the same way. Sabre notes gel reduces cross contamination and wind blowback on the live version.

How many bursts and what range does it have? Sabre rates the MK-4 at 13 full one-second bursts with a range of 15 to 20 feet.
