The Keystone Precision 722 Varmint Package in .22 LR is a 20-inch bolt-action rifle with an American walnut thumbhole stock, sold complete with a Simmons scope, a bipod and a hard case (Davey Crickett part no. KSA20030). It comes from the adult Keystone Precision 722 line, sold here under the Davey Crickett brand, where every rifle takes a 7-round magazine and has an adjustable trigger. The thumbhole stock and 20-inch blued barrel suit bench work and varmint shooting, and the bundled optic and bipod mean it is ready to go to the range. At about 6.8 pounds, the Varmint thumbhole is the heaviest 722 weight Keystone lists, which helps it stay steady off the bipod.

Key Specifications

• Caliber is .22 LR, a low-cost rimfire round for varmint control and bench shooting.
• The barrel is 20 inches long and blued, giving a longer sight radius and full velocity from .22 LR.
• The rifle feeds from a 7-round magazine that ships with every 722, so reloads are quick between strings.
• The action is a bolt action, the same 722 receiver used across the Keystone Precision line.
• An adjustable trigger comes on every 722, so pull weight can be set to the shooter.
• The stock is American walnut with a thumbhole, which positions the hand for steady, repeatable holds.
• Weight is 6.8 pounds for the Varmint thumbhole, adding mass that tames movement on the bench.
• The package includes a Simmons 3-9x40mm scope, so optics are covered from the start.
• A bipod is included, giving a stable rest for prone and bench shooting.
• A hard case is included for carrying and protecting the rifle and accessories.
