Description

The Colt Enhanced Patrol Rifle II Pro SBR is the 11.5-inch, 5.56 NATO version of Colt’s top-trim EPR II carbine, finished in matte black (Colt part no. LE6933-EPRII-PRO). Colt describes the EPR II as blending proven TDP components with certified MIL-SPEC materials, coatings, finishes and proprietary processes. The Pro trim adds an ambidextrous magazine catch and safety selector, a Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle, an enhanced trigger guard and a Magpul MOE-K2 grip. Magpul MBUS Pro folding sights, a QD receiver end plate and a Magpul MOE SL buttstock complete a rifle that is ready to run the day it arrives. Colt also builds it suppressor-ready, which makes the short barrel a natural host for a can.

Key Specifications

  • The chambering is 5.56 NATO, with ammunition available in every bullet weight and purpose.
  • Barrel length is 11.5 inches, chrome lined for durability and kept short for handling in tight spaces.
  • Rifling twist is 1-in-7, which stabilizes heavy and long-for-caliber 5.56 bullets.
  • Magazine capacity is 30 rounds, and one 30-round magazine ships with the rifle.
  • Controls include an ambidextrous magazine catch and safety selector for either-hand operation.
  • The charging handle is a Radian Raptor ambidextrous design, easy to work from either side, even under a low-mounted optic.
  • The handguard is Colt’s free-float rail with Magpul M-LOK slots in seven mounting orientations and a full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail.
  • Two integrated steel QD sling swivel sockets and anti-rotation tabs complete the rail, so slings attach without extra hardware.
  • Sights are Magpul MBUS Pro folding sights, which stay out of the way of an optic until needed.
  • Furniture is a Magpul MOE SL buttstock and MOE-K2 grip, with a QD receiver end plate for a rear sling point.
