The Cobalt Kinetics Pro Lite 5.56 NATO Pistol with a 7.5-inch barrel in black (brand part no. CKPROLITE55675BLK) is a pistol-format AR that carries an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace instead of a shoulder stock. Cobalt Kinetics designs the Pro Lite series around accuracy, operation, recoil mitigation and ambidextrous adaptability, and the company Cerakotes its firearms for durability. The 7.5-inch barrel keeps the whole package short enough for vehicles, tight rooms and a pack. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it runs the ammunition most AR shooters already buy by the case. It feeds from a 30-round magazine with one more in the chamber and has an ambidextrous safety lever for left- or right-handed shooters.

Key Specifications

• Barrel length is 7.5 inches, a compact length that makes the pistol easy to carry and maneuver.
• Capacity is 30+1, a 30-round magazine plus one in the chamber, which keeps reloads infrequent at the range.
• The action is semi-automatic, so each pull of the trigger fires one round without manual cycling.
• The safety is an ambidextrous safety lever, which left- and right-handed shooters can both reach.
• The pistol uses an SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable brace in place of a shoulder stock, which is what defines the pistol format.
• The finish is black, part of the Cerakote treatment Cobalt Kinetics applies to its firearms for wear and corrosion resistance.
