The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT in 7mm Backcountry (brand part no. 8010656100) finished in gray pairs a titanium barrel with an exceptionally short 16.25-inch length, giving mountain hunters magnum-class performance in a rifle built to disappear on the trail. Christensen Arms cuts a 1-in-8-inch twist into the titanium barrel, and the action feeds from a detachable magazine holding three rounds plus one in the chamber. 7mm Backcountry is a purpose-built high-velocity magnum cartridge designed for exactly this kind of short-barrel mountain rifle, making this Ridgeline FFT a strong choice for backcountry hunters in the bolt action rifles category.
