The Chiappa Rhino 40SAR .357 Magnum is a six-shot revolver with a 4-inch barrel, a nickel-plated finish and medium walnut grips (Chiappa part no. CF340245). The frame is machined from 7075-T6 alloy while the cylinder and barrel are steel, which keeps the weight down without giving up strength. It is a single-action design, so the hammer is cocked for each shot, and the 4-inch barrel gives more sight radius than the 3-inch models. That makes it a sensible choice for carry, home defense or a day at the range.
