The Chiappa 1887 Mares Leg 12 gauge is a lever-action shotgun built on the 1887 lever-gun design and cut down to the compact Mares Leg profile (brand part no. 930.019). An 18.5-inch barrel keeps it short and quick to handle, and the tubular magazine holds five 2-3/4-inch shells. Working the underlever chambers each shell by hand, which is the same manual-repeating action that made the 1887 a classic. It is a distinctive piece for cowboy action fans, collectors of lever guns and anyone who wants a 12 gauge with real character. Browse it with our other lever-action shotguns from Chiappa Firearms.
