The Chiappa 1874 Sharps Down Under is a long-barreled falling-block rifle chambered in .45-70 Government (Chiappa part no. 920.028). Its 34-inch barrel, double triggers and ladder rear sight come straight from the long-range buffalo-rifle tradition. A color case receiver, blued barrel and hand-oiled walnut stock with a patch box carry the period look. It is a single-shot rifle built for silhouette shooting, target work and collectors who want the Sharps profile.
