The Charter Arms Boomer .357 Magnum is a compact five-shot revolver with a 2-inch barrel and a concealed hammer (brand part no. 13559). The hammer is enclosed, so nothing snags as it clears a pocket or holster. Charter Arms gives it a black finish and a molded rubber grip for a secure hold, and the rounded profile has no external sight posts. It is built on a large frame configured for .357 Magnum pressures, yet it stays light enough for daily carry. This is a purpose-built close-range defensive revolver for shooters who want the .357 Magnum in a short package.
