The Pro-Shot Chamber Maid Star Swabs Tool Set (Pro-Shot part no. CMK-556) is built for fast, thorough cleaning of the chamber and the hard-to-reach lug recesses in the barrel extension of AR-platform rifles. The set includes a detachable handle, a flexible steel braid, a rubber-coated cleaning rod, and a heavy-duty bronze bore brush with a wider-diameter section of stainless steel bristles to reach into the lug recesses a standard brush cannot access. Because the AR15/M4/M16 barrel extension has several small pockets where carbon builds up around the locking lugs, a dedicated tool like this reaches spots a standard chamber brush passes right over. It is a focused accessory for anyone who wants their AR chamber genuinely clean, not just wiped down.
