The Canik METE MC9 Prime Arctic Distressed is a compensated, optic-ready 9mm carry pistol in a distressed light finish (Canik part no. HG8328AD-N). It holds 17+1 rounds behind a 3.64-inch barrel and carries Night Fision tritium night sights front and rear. The METE MC9 platform brings a polymer frame and a flat-face aluminum trigger. Its slide is cut for Shield RMSc, CANiK ONYXc and CANiK PHANTOMc footprint optics. This Canik colorway is for the shooter who wants Prime performance in something other than black.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is 9mm Luger, the most common carry and training cartridge, so ammunition is easy to find.
• Magazine capacity is 17+1 rounds, a high count for a micro-compact that still conceals well.
• The barrel measures 3.64 inches, which keeps the slide short for concealed carry.
• The slide is compensated, with a cut at the muzzle end that is intended to reduce muzzle rise.
• The slide is optic ready for Shield RMSc, CANiK ONYXc and CANiK PHANTOMc footprint optics, so a red dot mounts without milling.
• The sights are Night Fision tritium night sights front and rear, which keep a visible sight picture in low light.
• The trigger is a flat-face aluminum design, which gives a consistent finger position on every press.
• The finish is Arctic Distressed, the maker’s name for this colorway.
• The pistol ships with two 17-round magazines, so a spare is ready right out of the case.
• The frame is polymer, a light, durable material for all-day carry.
