The Caldwell VelociRadar Chronograph is precision redefined with Chirp radar technology (Caldwell part no. 1134904). Where most chronographs only provide velocity, the VelociRadar tracks the bullet downrange and measures its drag to calculate ballistic coefficient, true muzzle velocity and downrange energy. With a single shot it creates a custom bullet drop chart showing the elevation adjustments needed at longer ranges. The unit sits next to the shooter rather than downrange, so setup is safe and quick and there is no risk of bullet impacts. It is a long-range tool from Caldwell.

Key Specifications

• The radar is Chirp radar that tracks bullet velocity and distance up to 100 yards downrange.
• The velocity range is 250 to 4500 fps, for rifles, shotguns, handguns and archery.
• It provides muzzle velocity and ballistic coefficient for each shot to monitor stability.
• An integrated ballistic calculator creates a custom bullet drop chart from a single shot.
• A built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery removes the need for disposable batteries.
• An integrated peep sight makes target alignment easy.
• An included recoil trigger improves reliability when shooting suppressed, on busy ranges or at indoor and covered ranges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it measure ballistic coefficient? Yes. Using downrange data, the VelociRadar measures the drag on the bullet to calculate ballistic coefficient and provides true muzzle velocity and downrange energy.

Where do I set it up? It sits next to the shooter on the bench, not downrange, so setup is safe and quick and there is no risk of bullet impacts. A premium ball head tripod is included.

Can I use it with a suppressor or at an indoor range? Yes. The included recoil trigger increases reliability when shooting suppressed, on busy ranges or at indoor and covered shooting ranges.
