The Byrna Boost 12g CO2 adapter lets a Byrna SD, EP or HD launcher run standard 12-gram CO2 cartridges, which Byrna says delivers 30 shots per cartridge and 50% more shots per CO2 canister (Byrna part no. HD68800). Twelve-gram cartridges are sold almost everywhere, so a practice session does not depend on finding one specific size. The kit includes left and right 12 G adaptor pieces, a CO2 tube, the screws and nuts that hold them, and the two hex keys needed for installation, and Byrna describes the install as easy. It is not compatible with the Byrna CL, and Byrna does not recommend Crosman-brand 12-gram cartridges because they may not puncture correctly. For an SD, EP or HD owner who trains often, it is a practical upgrade.
