The Browning Maxus II Ultimate Maple 12 Gauge brings a figured AAAA grade maple stock and a scroll-engraved nickel receiver to a 26-inch autoloader (Browning part no. 011777205). The gloss blued barrel sets off the satin nickel plating, and a jeweled bolt completes the finish work. Under the cosmetics it is the same dependable Maxus II, with Browning’s Power Drive gas system and Lightning Trigger. The shorter barrel suits upland walks and quick shooting, and the Inflex II recoil pad keeps the gun comfortable. If you want a fine field gun with real shelf presence, this Browning is a strong candidate.
