The Browning Citori White Lightning 20 gauge 28-inch over/under shotgun is a break-action built for pheasant and upland hunting (Browning part no. 018142604). The White Lightning swaps the traditional blued receiver of the Citori Lightning for a durable silver nitride finish with intricate engraving, paired with polished blued barrels and an oil-finished Grade III/IV walnut lightning-style stock. It is Browning‘s pick for pheasants and other upland game. It measures 45 inches overall and weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces with 28-inch barrels, and it carries an ivory bead front sight.

Key Specifications

• The gauge is 20 gauge, a lighter-handling gauge that still covers upland birds and clays.
• The over/under barrels are 28 inches long, which sets the sight radius and swing weight.
• The chambers are 3-inch, the longest 20 gauge shell the gun is built to fire.
• Sighting is an ivory bead front sight, a simple aiming reference that stays out of the way on a moving bird.
• The choke system is Invector-Plus Extended, with three tubes included (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) so the patterns can be matched to the shot.
• The stock is Grade III/IV black walnut in a gloss oil finish, the wood grade that sets this model’s look.
• The barrels have a polished blued finish, the traditional look for a Citori.
• The steel receiver is finished in silver nitride, a surface that stands up to field use.
• The gun weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces, a figure that governs how it carries and how much recoil it passes on.
