Description

The Browning Competition Recoil Hawg (brand part number 1293090) is a stainless steel muzzle brake built to cut muzzle rise and felt recoil on rifle barrels chambered .30 caliber or smaller. Browning cuts the venting as top ports, directing gas upward to counter muzzle climb during rapid strings of fire, and machines the brake to a compact 2.75-inch overall length so it doesn’t add much bulk to the muzzle. It’s a multi-caliber design that threads onto barrels at either 5/8-24 or 1/2-28 TPI, covering the two most common rifle muzzle thread pitches, and it’s tunable to let shooters dial in the amount of rise reduction for their load and barrel. A minimum .700-inch barrel shoulder is required for proper installation.
