The Browning BLR Lightweight 81 Takedown in .308 Winchester (brand part no. 034015118) is a lever-action rifle built around a 20-inch button-rifled barrel, adding a takedown design to Browning’s rotating-bolt lever action for easy transport and storage. Browning finishes the barrel in matte stainless, houses the action in a matte nickel aluminum receiver, and stocks it in satin gray laminate for right-hand shooters. Among lever guns in the lever action rifles category, the Takedown favors hunters and travelers who want a compact-storing lever rifle that still shoots modern .308 hunting loads.
