Baschieri & Pellagri’s Heavy Pheasant loads in 12 gauge (brand part no. 123B58H4) pack a full 3-inch magnum shell with 1-5/8 ounces of #4 lead shot at 1,400 feet per second, the heaviest payload in B&P’s pheasant lineup for hunters who want maximum knockdown at longer range. B&P builds Heavy Pheasant for real range and stopping power, and this 3-inch loading steps up both payload and shot size from the standard 2.75-inch version for hunters who want the extra margin on tough, late-season roosters. The larger #4 shot carries more per-pellet energy than a smaller size, giving the pattern the punch to finish birds that shrug off a lighter load. For pheasant hunters who want the heaviest option in the lineup, these shotgun shells are built to close the deal.
