Berry’s Superior Plated Pistol Bullets in .45 Cal, 185 grains, hollow base round nose profile (Berry’s part no. 84477) start life as a swaged lead core, then get electroplated with copper to their final weight before being re-struck to precise specifications for a solid bond and round-to-round consistency. Because there is no exposed lead, these bullets are safe to shoot at indoor ranges, and handloaders can build practice or range ammunition without the cost of a fully jacketed bullet. Berry’s calls the Superior line its finest bonded copper-jacketed bullet, and it is a proven choice for high-volume .45 Cal shooters.
