Berger’s 6mm 120 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target bullet (brand part no. 24986) is a match-grade projectile built for shooters pushing the limits of long-range precision in F-Class, Precision Rifle Series, benchrest, and other long-range disciplines. Its Hybrid Ogive profile blends the forgiving nature of a tangent ogive with the high-performance edge of a secant ogive, making it easier to tune and more tolerant of seating-depth changes than traditional VLD-style bullets. Every lot is Doppler-radar verified to hold ballistic coefficient variation under one percent, so handloaders get lot-to-lot consistency they can trust at extreme range. This 1500-count bulk box is built for competitors and long-range handloaders who burn through components fast.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Meplat Reduction Technology? It is Berger’s process for trimming bullet tips to a more consistent point, reducing drag variation and improving accuracy at long range.

Is this bullet good for hunting or match shooting? It is a match-grade target bullet designed for F-Class, PRS, and benchrest competition, not a hunting bullet.

Does the Hybrid Ogive require precise seating depth? No, its jump-tolerant design is more forgiving of seating-depth changes than traditional VLD-style bullets, simplifying load development.
