The Bergara B-14 Wilderness Sierra .450 Bushmaster puts the straight-wall cartridge that opened up so many shotgun-only deer zones into a rifle with a sub-MOA guarantee (brand part no. B14S806). The 20-inch fluted barrel is a No. 5 taper in 4140 chrome-moly, threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with Bergara’s Omni muzzle brake to tame a big-bore thumper, and the whole rifle wears Sniper Grey Cerakote for weather protection. The B-14 action is Bergara’s two-lug design with a sliding-plate extractor, feeding from a detachable magazine through M5 bottom metal. The Sierra stock is a traditional sporter with an adjustable comb and quarter-inch length-of-pull spacers, so the rifle fits behind a scope without a cheek riser. For the .450 Bushmaster hunter who wants accuracy instead of a compromise, this Bergara is a serious step up.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is .450 Bushmaster, the straight-wall cartridge that meets the hunting regulations in many shotgun-only deer regions.
• Barrel length is 20 inches, which keeps this hard-hitting rifle short enough for a stand or a brushy tree line.
• The barrel is a fluted No. 5 taper in 4140 chrome-moly steel, stiff enough for consistent groups without the weight of a full bull barrel.
• Twist rate is 1:24, the standard rate for stabilizing .450 Bushmaster bullets from 250 to 300 grains.
• The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with Bergara’s Omni muzzle brake, which takes the sting out of a cartridge this size.
• The finish is Sniper Grey Cerakote on barrel and action, a ceramic coating chosen for harsh-weather protection.
• Capacity is 4+1 from a detachable magazine seated in M5 bottom metal, which also accepts AICS-pattern magazines.
• The stock is a sporter design with an adjustable comb and quarter-inch length-of-pull spacers, so it can be fitted to the shooter and the scope.
• The safety is two-position, simple to run with gloves on.
• The B-14 action uses a two-lug bolt with a sliding-plate extractor, and Bergara backs the rifle with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose .450 Bushmaster? It is a straight-wall cartridge, which makes it legal for deer in many areas that restrict bottleneck rifle rounds, and it delivers big-bore energy at typical whitetail distances.

Can the comb height be adjusted? Yes. The Sierra stock has an adjustable comb and comes with quarter-inch spacers for length of pull, so the rifle can be fitted to a large scope without an add-on riser.

Does it come with a muzzle brake? Yes. The 5/8-24 threaded muzzle ships with Bergara’s Omni muzzle brake installed, and the threads accept a suppressor or another device if you prefer.
