The Bergara Premier Barreled Action (Bergara part no. BPBA26-300WM) pairs a bolt-action Premier receiver with a 22-inch, number 4-contour stainless steel barrel chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, giving builders a match-grade foundation for a custom magnum hunting or long-range rifle. Bergara cuts the barrel with a 1-in-10-inch twist to stabilize the wide range of .300 Winchester Magnum bullet weights, and the number 4 contour balances weight with the stiffness needed for repeatable accuracy under recoil. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion through hard field use. Sold as a barreled action rather than a complete rifle, it drops into the chassis or stock of the builder’s choice, skipping the barrel-fitting step of a full custom build.
