The Barnes TSX .470 Nitro Express 500gr rifle bullet (brand part no. 30647) is a flat-base, all-copper projectile built at .474-inch diameter for the .470 Nitro Express dangerous-game cartridge. Barnes engineers the TSX to expand into four razor-sharp petals with deep cutting capability on impact, penetrating dense bone and tissue for hunters who need a reliable one-shot result on heavy, dangerous game. The bullet retains essentially all of its original weight after expansion, and Barnes notes best accuracy typically comes from seating depths between roughly 0.03 and 0.07 inch off the lands, depending on the rifle. It ships 20 to a box.
