The Barnes VOR-TX .338 Lapua Magnum 280gr LRX load (Barnes part no. 30727) is factory-loaded ammunition sold in a 20-round box. Barnes builds it around a 280-grain LRX bullet, and the maker describes its all-copper bullets as delivering destructive power, double-diameter expansion, maximum weight retention and devastating energy transfer. In practice that means a bullet meant to open up wide, hold its weight and put its energy into the target, with excellent accuracy. That makes it a straightforward fit for hunters who load a .338 Lapua rifle with a copper bullet and want a factory box rather than handloads. Each box holds 20 rounds.
