The Battle Arms Development Enhanced Magazine Release (BAD part no. BAD-EMR-OD) upgrades the standard AR15 magazine button with a concave V-groove face that self-centers your index finger as you press it. Horizontal, parallel serrations grip your finger in the vertical direction while minimizing drag as you pull back for retraction. A lightweight skeletonized back offsets the extra material in the solid button face and slightly taller height, so the finished part weighs almost exactly the same as a standard mil-spec release, around 0.002 pounds difference. Finished in FDE, it drops into any lower receiver built to accept a standard mil-spec magazine release button.
