The Monadnock AutoLock 26-inch expandable baton (Monadnock part no. 1000564) combines friction-lock and positive-lock technology in one patented mechanism. It opens to 26 inches and collapses to 11-1/2 inches, so it carries compactly and still gives full reach when deployed. This version has a foam handle, which separates it from the Super Grip models in the AutoLock line. To close it, you push the button in the end cap instead of looking for a hard surface to strike it against.
