The Auto-Ordnance Thompson TAO .416 Barrett bolt-action rifle (brand part no. TAO416) is built around a 29-inch barrel for extreme long-range work. Auto-Ordnance builds it on a precision-machined platform with a patent-pending roller bearing bolt and a high-efficiency muzzle brake. A Magpul PRS Gen 3 adjustable stock fits it to the shooter, and full-length accessory and optics rails leave plenty of room for a scope and gear. It feeds from a Barrett M107A1 10-round magazine, and the .416 Barrett cartridge delivers heavy bullets with a flatter trajectory than many big-bore rounds. For a long-range shooter who wants a big-bore bolt gun from the Thompson line, this rifle from Kahr Arms‘ Auto-Ordnance brand is a standout.
