The Arsenal 8-piece mil-spec spring kit for AK-47/AKM rifles (brand part no. ARS-AK47-SK1) gathers the wear springs an AK owner replaces most often into one package. Arsenal builds the kit from 100 percent new production components rather than surplus take-offs. It is aimed at anyone refreshing a rifle that has seen high round counts, or building a spare parts bin for an AK pattern gun. Each spring in the kit is supplied once, so a full refresh of the springs listed below takes a single order.

Key Specifications

• The kit is eight pieces made for the AK-47/AKM pattern, with one of each spring so the set covers a complete refresh.
• Every spring is new production, so a worn rifle gets fresh tension instead of reused parts.
• The hammer spring drives the hammer that fires the cartridge, which makes it the first spring to check on a high-mileage rifle.
• A disconnector spring is included to keep trigger reset and semi-auto function consistent.
• The extractor spring maintains the pressure that lets the extractor hold the case rim during extraction.
• A recoil spring is supplied to cushion the bolt carrier through cycling.
• The kit rounds out with a magazine catch spring, a plunger pin spring, a rear sight leaf button spring and a retainer spring for pivot pins.
