Description
The Volquartsen Vanquish22 Superlite in FDE is a semi-automatic .22 LR rifle fitted with Angstadt Arms’ integrally suppressed Vanquish barrel, built by the rimfire specialists at Volquartsen (brand part no. AAVV22SMFR). An 18.5-inch precision ported barrel slows standard-velocity .22 LR to subsonic speed, so the rifle runs quietly on ordinary ammunition. Volquartsen supplies a TG2000 trigger group breaking at 2.25 pounds and a DLC-coated competition bolt with an exact edge extractor and titanium firing pin. The baffle-free design removes lead buildup and baffle strikes, and the rifle sits in a Flat Dark Earth Magpul X-22 Hunter stock. It is a quiet, accurate semi-auto for rimfire competition, small game and long range days.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is FDE on this rifle? The Magpul X-22 Hunter stock is Flat Dark Earth, while the integral suppressor body stays black Cerakote.
Can I shoot CCI Stinger ammunition? No. Because of the Bentz match chamber, the Vanquish22 is not compatible with CCI Stinger hyper-velocity ammunition, whose case is longer than a traditional .22 LR case. Angstadt Arms recommends CCI Velocitor for a high-velocity load, or standard-velocity and subsonic rounds for the best-sounding shots.
Do I need ATF approval to buy this? No. As of October 9, 2026, ATF no longer requires Form 4 approval, registration or a tax stamp for suppressors. It transfers on a Form 4473 with a background check through a Class 3 (SOT) dealer. State and local laws still apply.
