The Remington Premier STS Target 28 gauge load is a 2-3/4-inch shotshell with 3/4 ounce of #9 lead shot, sold in a box of 25 (Remington part no. 28053). It is built for skeet, trap and sporting clays, where shot-to-shot consistency matters more than raw power. Remington makes the STS line around its own shot, a reloadable polyethylene hull and a wad engineered to cushion the charge, which is why the load is a long-standing favorite at the clay fields. For a 28 gauge shooter who wants a proven target load, it is the familiar choice.
