The Tactical Solutions X-Ring VR GEN2 .22 LR rifle in olive drab pairs a matte olive drab barreled action with a Ghillie Green Hogue OverMolded stock (TacSol part no. ATE2MODBHGGRN). TacSol machines the receiver from 6061-T6 aluminum and fits an ultra-lightweight 16.5-inch threaded barrel with a chromoly steel bore, so the rifle stays light enough to carry all day and steady enough for off-hand shooting. The stainless steel bolt runs on dual guide rods with a noise-dampening buffer, and a rear cleaning port lets you clean the bore without pulling the barrel. It suits squirrel woods, plinking sessions and suppressed rimfire shooting alike.
