Description

The SureFire RSR remote switch (SureFire part no. RSR-SR07) is a rifle pressure switch assembly made for the XVL2 WeaponLight and the XVL2-IRC. It moves activation forward on the handguard so you can turn the light on or off without changing your support-hand grip. SureFire builds it with an over-molded switch and a 7-inch cable you can position to suit your hold. This version offers both momentary-on and constant-on switching, so it works for quick taps or for leaving the light on.

Key Specifications

  • It is designed for the XVL2 and XVL2-IRC WeaponLights, which SureFire lists as the lights it interfaces with.
  • Switching is momentary and constant-on, the classic SureFire behavior for shooters used to Scout Light remote tape switches.
  • The over-molded switch is built for long-term durability and water resistance.
  • The cable is 7 inches long, which lets you position the pad where it suits your grip.
  • Installing it does not change the XVL2 IPX8 water resistance rating of 2 hours at 66 feet.
  • Activation does not require a support-hand grip change, so your hold on the rifle stays the same.
