The Fobus universal IWB holster for large-frame semi-automatics (Fobus part no. IWBL) is a single inside-the-waistband holster meant to accommodate many full-size pistols instead of one specific model. Fobus builds it from a flexible back that buffers the pistol from your body, a non-collapsing shell, and two belt clips that set it at waistband height. It is lightweight, fully tuckable, completely washable and ventilated. Because it is sized for a class of pistols, you do not need to change shells when you move between large-frame guns.

Key Specifications

• The holster is sized for large-frame semi-automatics, so one shell serves several full-size pistols.
• The fit list includes the Glock 20, 21, 22, 31 and 37, along with other large-frame models.
• Fobus also lists the H&K VP9, VP40 and P30 and the Springfield XD and XDM.
• It fits the CZ 75, 100, 100B, P-07 Duty and P09 and the Walther PPX among others.
• Construction is mold-injected polymer with a flexible, non-slip backing.
• Retention comes from belt tension on the shell rather than a passive-retention mechanism, so it holds while worn on your body.
• Two belt clips position the holster at waistband height, and the design is fully tuckable and washable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this holster have a passive retention mechanism? No. Fobus states that retention comes from belt pressure on the holster when it is on your body, so do not invert the holster when it is not being worn or the pistol will fall out.

Which pistols fit this universal holster? Fobus lists large-frame models including the Glock 20, 21, 22, 31 and 37, the H&K VP9, VP40 and P30, the Springfield XD and XDM, the CZ 75, the Walther PPX and the Smith & Wesson M&P.

Do I need a different shell for each pistol? No. Fobus designed it as a universal holster for pistols of the same size, so no shell replacement is needed when you change between them.
