The Safariland Model 6365RDS ALS/SLS Low-Ride duty holster for the Glock 17 MOS with light (Safariland part no. 1204685) is built for firearms that wear a red dot sight. Its Automatic Locking System builds on the Self Locking System, locking the pistol in all directions on holstering. The thumb releases the lock and the pistol draws straight out with no twisting. Safariland pairs that Level III retention with a low-ride position on the belt and a cut that clears the optic. The Glock 17 MOS fit list names the red dots and weapon lights it covers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this holster fit my Glock 17 MOS with a red dot and a light? Safariland lists the Glock 17 MOS with the red dots and lights named above. Safariland also states that it cannot guarantee that RDS holsters will be compatible with non-factory mounted red dots, such as Glock MOS and M&P CORE, because depth of the red dot in the slide, use of a dovetail and placement on the slide can all affect the fit.

What does the RDS in the model name mean? It marks the 6365RDS as the version designed for firearms with red dot sights mounted to them.

How does the lock release? The Automatic Locking System locks the pistol on holstering and is operated with the thumb. The pistol then draws straight out.
