The First Defense Inert MK-3 Stream Aerosol Training Spray from Defense Technology (part no. 1011750) is an inert training canister that duplicates the delivery system of live First Defense product without the active formula. The stream delivery method gives a target-specific, concentrated stream with greater standoff, which is the pattern most duty sprays use. Each canister delivers 10-12 short bursts at an effective range of 10-12 ft. The MK-3 is a duty-belt size, and the formulation is tested non-flammable and EDW safe. It works for deployment practice, scenario training and classroom demonstrations.

• Effective range is 10-12 ft, matching the reach of the live product it simulates.
• The formula is inert, so the unit duplicates the delivery system of the active First Defense line for training purposes only.
• The green canister marks it as an inert training unit and keeps it apart from live canisters.
• Maker testing found it non-flammable and EDW safe, so it can be used in drills that involve electronic discharge weapons.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the stream pattern work? It provides a target-specific, strong concentrated stream for greater standoff, which is the opposite of the wide cone pattern.

Can I use it around electronic discharge weapons? Yes. Defense Technology tested this formulation and reports it as non-flammable and Electronic Discharge Weapon (EDW) safe.
