The Nite Ize Steelie Orbiter Vent Kit is a magnetic phone mounting kit that combines a portable vent mount, the Orbiter Magnetic Socket and a low-profile metal plate (Nite Ize part no. STOVK-01-R8). The metal plate attaches to your phone or case, and the phone then attaches, detaches and rotates on the vent mount for the right viewing angle. The vent mount has a cast aluminum body and a cam locking lever that grips most vehicle vents, and it can be moved from car to car. A powerful neodymium magnet joins the socket to the plate. The kit keeps your phone itself free of magnets.
