The Sabre Red MK-4 foam pepper spray is the largest of the foam duty canisters in this group, with an 89 mL load and eighteen bursts per can (Sabre part no. 52H2O30-F). It delivers Sabre’s 1.33% major capsaicinoid formula as a foam, which greatly reduces cross contamination because it does not atomize into the air. Each burst lasts one second and reaches 8 to 10 feet, and a flip top safety covers the actuator. Sabre tests each canister at the factory and guarantees the heat of its formula through in-house HPLC analysis. It is a strong pick for anyone who wants the most discharges from a foam duty canister.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many bursts does the MK-4 foam deliver? Sabre lists eighteen full one-second bursts at a range of 8 to 10 feet from the 89 mL canister.

Why choose the MK-4 over a smaller canister? The MK-4 holds more formula, which gives more discharges per can than the smaller MK-3 and MK-3.5 foam canisters.
