The Sig Sauer Echo MV50-LRF thermal monocular is a handheld thermal imager with a built-in laser rangefinder, a 640×512 sensor and 3-24x magnification (Sig Sauer part no. SOEC42310OR). It runs BDX 2.0, so it adapts to the situation in front of you with the information you need right in your hand. The unit measures just 7.6 inches in length and gives about ten hours of runtime, which is enough for a long night of scanning fields, brush and tree lines. A matte orange finish sets it apart from darker thermal units, and a carry case comes with it. It is a serious tool for hunters and property owners who need to find and range targets in the dark.
