The October Mountain Mountaineer Dusk recurve with a 40 lb right-hand setup is a 62-inch, three-piece take-down hunting bow that blends a dymondwood and padauk riser with bamboo wood limbs (October Mountain part no. OMP2206240). The riser follows the Mountaineer 2.0 design, with a slim grip and bushings for a sight, plunger and stabilizer already in place. At 40 pounds the bow balances arrow speed with a draw that stays comfortable over a long session. Its bamboo limbs are built for strength, flexibility and quick recovery, and reinforced tips make them Fast Flight string compatible. It comes with a B55 Flemish string and flat head limb bolts.

Key Specifications

• The limbs are rated at 40 pounds, a middle weight that balances arrow speed against how easily the bow holds at full draw.
• A dymondwood and padauk riser gives the bow its looks and its feel in the hand.
• Handedness is right-hand, for a shooter who holds the bow in the left hand.
• The bow measures 62 inches long, a length that keeps the string angle comfortable at full draw.
• The bow is Fast Flight compatible, thanks to limb tips reinforced to handle that string material.
• Bamboo wood limbs provide the strength and flex that give the Dusk its quick recovery and speed.
• The riser carries sight, plunger and stabilizer bushings, so those accessories mount directly.
