The DPMS A2 M-LOK upper is a complete 5.56 NATO upper receiver group built on an 11.5-inch barrel with a carbine-length gas system (DPMS part no. DP51655130076). The barrel is 4150V chrome moly vanadium steel in an A2 profile with a phosphate finish, a 1:7 twist and a 1/2×28 threaded muzzle wearing a DPMS A2 flash hider. A low-profile gas block sits under a DPMS 10.5-inch lightweight M-LOK rail, and the receiver is an M4-type forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper with an M4 barrel extension. It comes with a bolt carrier group, built around a Carpenter 158 steel bolt in a full-auto profile carrier, plus a charging handle. For a compact AR-15 build, it is a short, ready-to-run 5.56 upper with modern M-LOK furniture.
