The DuraMag SS 7.62×39 magazine (brand part no. 2862041205CPD) is a 28-round black detachable magazine for running 7.62x39mm in AR-15 style rifles. Feeding the tapered 7.62×39 case through the straight magazine well of an AR has never been easy, and DuraMag built the SS around solving exactly that. DuraMag credits extensive quality control for magazines that feed this cartridge reliably in the AR platform. It gives an AR owner the close-range power of 7.62×39 with a magazine made for the job rather than an adapted 5.56 design. It is sold as a single magazine.
