The Tippmann M4-22 Elite ISS rifle is a .22 LR semi-automatic built on a 16-inch integrally suppressed barrel (Tippmann part no. A101375). Tippmann rates the ISS-16 barrel at 26 dB of reduction, to a 115 dB reading at the muzzle, the quietest figure in its M4-22 lineup. The rifle has aluminum upper and lower receivers, an adjustable stock and the look and controls of an M4. It is largely mil-spec compatible, so most AR-15 stocks, handguards and sights fit. It is a strong pick for training, rimfire competition or plinking where a quiet report keeps the neighbors and the range staff happy.
