The Shadow Systems E526 in 5.56 NATO (brand part no. SS-6033) is an 11.5-inch AR-platform pistol built around a hybrid-profile, spiral-fluted 4150 CMV barrel and topped with a bronze TiCN-coated bolt carrier group for a two-tone look. Shadow Systems built the E526 as a lightweight fighting platform, holding weight to just 5.4 pounds while keeping the durability of a pinned 17-4 stainless gas block and an MPI-tested bolt. Fully ambidextrous controls — bolt release, charging handle, and a configurable safety selector — put every function within reach for either-handed shooters, and the proprietary stabilizing brace and textured pistol grip keep the compact package controllable. Built for home defense, truck-gun duty, or a lightweight range pistol, the E526 pairs an AR pistol’s compact footprint with genuine rifle-grade components.

What’s the difference between the bronze and black BCG editions? This SS-6033 model uses a bronze TiCN-coated bolt carrier group for a two-tone look; the SS-6034 edition uses an all-black ArmorLube-coated BCG instead.
