The Trailblazer LifeCard .380 ACP is a folding, single shot pistol in black that closes to roughly the size of a deck of cards (brand part no. LC5-380). Trailblazer Firearms builds it in Fletcher, North Carolina, and this chambering is the largest caliber in the LifeCard line. Unfolded, the handle rotates into position and the controls become accessible, giving a full-size grip for a pistol that disappears into a pocket. It suits the shooter who wants a centerfire backup that is actually carried because it takes almost no room. Each shot is a deliberate loading and firing cycle, so it rewards practice and a calm hand.

Key Specifications

• The chambering is .380 ACP, a centerfire round that is the step up from the rimfire LifeCards.
• The action is single shot, single action, so each round is loaded and fired as its own deliberate cycle.
• Closed dimensions are 3.375 x 2.4 x 0.71 inches, thin enough to carry without printing the way a conventional pocket pistol does.
• Weight is 14 ounces, which is carry weight for a centerfire folding pistol.
• The safety design means the pistol will not fire when closed, so the folded gun cannot discharge in a pocket.
• The handle stores 2 extra rounds, so a reload travels with the pistol.
• Construction is aluminum, steel and polymer, with the finish listed as black.
